Airbus Assembly Line Mobile has announced it is seeking applicants for several new positions including:

Logistics Coordinator

This positions responsibility is to support operations by logistics line side feed in partnership with Logistics Service Provider interface. The position will work within a multifunctional team and will be the first contact for operations on any planning and logistical issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create, negotiate and establish logistical processes with different stakeholders
  • Prepare training documents and provide on-the-job trainings
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing philosophies and techniques
  • Perform material planning for free stock, flying consumables and safety stock
  • Track and trace the physical position and status of material and material delivery units
  • Coordinate reassignment of Aircraft parts, including the corresponding documentation
  • Support operations line side on rework/concession parts supply
  • Focal point for logistic service provider
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Information Systems

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detailed knowledge of common applications ie. SAP/R3
  • Experience in supply chain management
  • Working knowledge of Logistics processes
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
  • Understanding of aircraft manufacture assembly and production
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in an intercultural multifunction teams

Education / Special Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years in supply chain and logistics in an international company, preferably in aviation
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Experience within a Foreign Trade Zone Manufacturing Environment would be a plus

Minimum of 6 months training abroad is required

IT Manager & IT Specialist

Position includes being in charge of gathering project requests, establish a project baseline and prepare detailed requirement documents. Analyzes the requirements and prepares a budget, resource and delivery plan. Responsible to drive and report on the delivery of IS services, the risk management and launches mitigation actions to achieve the agreed project requests according to the project plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project plan that will contain information to launch project (content draft, resources, budget and schedule)
  • Prepare the decision for all work streams and decide with the different ICT domains on the schedule
  • Coordinate a schedule with the internal domains to deliver the requested process and solutions
  • Support the end user on a day-to-day basis in their process and ICT solutions. Give a feedback on issues which may require an adaptation to be collected and potential feed into improvement projects
  • Prepare SAP and other project for delivery. Prepare training, tests and deployment
  • Safeguard assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures
  • Monitor & maintain the computer systems and networks of the organization
  • Install & configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults & solve technical and application problems

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

  • Experience in international project management
  • Strong knowledge in project management methodologies
  • Strong process understanding
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment

Education / Special Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Technology or a comparable degree + minimum 5 years experience in field
  • Experience with SAP/ERP Application
  • Fluent in English; German or French a plus

Salary is within the range of $61,000 – $71,000

Minimum of 6 months training abroad is required

Manufacturing Engineer (Electrics/Systems)

The Manufacturing Engineer responsibility is to manage non-conformities/design deviation and late changes to support production. You will answer technical questions, prepare new modifications for country specific constraints and explain about work orders and drawings, especially for aircraft (A/C) cabin, electrical, mechanical or systems related items. In this role you are in strong communication with the FAL production, quality and (design) engineering quick response team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create specific work orders for FAL reworks
  • Establish/verify the technical content of non-conformities on the Manufacturing Engineering scope
  • Track engineering quick response team answers/updates (design)
  • Manage continuous improvement measures with reoccurring non-conformities in cooperation with quality
  • Validate production processes for country specific constraints; Analyze current status and create reports
  • Exchange and inform the European Manufacturing Engineering back office about all notified changes in production
  • Provide support for new colleagues and trainees

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

  • Worked with the principles, practices, methods and tools used in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Worked with non-conformities and design query notes
  • Worked with supply chain management and quality management systems
  • Strong international communication skills
  • Knowledge of common applications such as SAP/R3 (Module PP/PM)
  • Knowledge of rules for aircraft design and manufacturing
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation

Education / Special Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years as a technician or foreman with focus on Cabin, Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Installation and/or have a degree in Aerospace, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with an aviation company

Must be willing to travel abroad for training for minimum of 6 months
