Faurecia North America, an automotive supplier, has plans to build a new plant in Tuscaloosa, AL. The plant will supply parts to MBUSI and employ up to 195 people when full production is reached.

The Alabama State Board of Education on Thursday approved a three‐year contract and a December 1 start date for incoming chancellor Dr. Freida Hill.
